Save Polaroid

Save Instant Photography

On February 8, 2008, Polaroid Corporation announced that it will discontinue production of all instant film. This site will document the aftermath of this announcement and will serve as a home-base for the effort to convince another company to begin producing the cherished technology that Polaroid has so carelessly abandoned.

I like your blog Joel.
Brings back memories of the first real camera I owned,(I used to borrow my dad's box brownie before that).
It was a big grey box of a thing and produced horrible little snaps, but it got me interested enough in photography to progress from there.

Hi John,

Thanks for the kind words all the way from the UK. Have been shooting for a while, though not as long as most of them folks on Lightstalkers.

I'm sure you'll agree with me when i say that photo-J is more a way of life than pretty models in a magazine pin up.

Am gonna PM you at your site with more if you don't mind.

Cheers mate!
